Very high resistan-ce to abrasion with minor impact con-ditions. Develops a high polish in ser-vice.

Relief cracks are normal.

Typical application: Pan scraper bla-des, Augers and forcers, Agricultu-ral implements, Suction dredge blades, Pump casings, Impeller blades, Feeder screws.

Very high resistan-ce to abrasion and impact. To be used on austenitic man-ganese steel as well.

Relief cracks are normal.

Typical application: Dredge bucket lips, Pump linings, Crusher jaws, Shovel and dragli-ne buckets, Swing hammers, Grizzly bear bars, Ball mill liners.

Typical application:

For extremely high abrasion conditions, e.x. drill collars, scrapers.

How to use: Higher currents can be used but will result in greater dilution between the deposit and the parent metal. The best results are achieved by holding the electrode perpendicular to the workpiece and employing an arc length of approximately 4mm. As the thickness of the deposit increases, it may exhibit surface stress relief cracks which do not penetrate into the base metal and are in fact a desirable feature on this type of extremely hard wearing alloy.
